Project Managers and Research Staff Analysts

In our organization, project managers and members of our research staff have the responsibility of working under the guidance of the senior trial consultant assigned to a particular case. They also have the responsibility of ensuring that quality control measures which uphold the standards of the firm are taken in every case.

Project managers have the primary responsibility for knowing the logistical requirements for each project assigned to him or her and for affirmatively taking all steps to make sure that appropriate staff members are engaged and prepared to carry out the project smoothly and effectively. In our firm, once a client engages us to conduct a service, a project manager is immediately assigned and the activity necessary to plan and carry out the project revolves around the project manager. The project manager is the coordinator for each project (focus group study, mock trial study, witness training session, shadow/mirror jury, etc.). In our experience, successful project managers are able to develop a budget and plan for carrying out a project. They work closely with the trial consultants to ensure that the firm's services are delivered in an excellent manner.

We recommend the following academic and experiential backgrounds for project manager applicants to our firm:

  • Graduate work in Psychology, Sociology, or another social science,

  • Substantial experience in setting up and managing social science or scientific marketing research projects, and

  • Proven ability to provide logistical support to a team of professionals.
Research staff analysts are engaged primarily in the collecting, analysis, and interpretation of data collected in our psychological research studies. The research staff analyst, along with the other members of our team share responsibility for making sure that the trial attorneys and litigation client receive the best possible service from the nation's leading trial consulting firm. Because clients expect us to provide them with service and advice that is based in scientific research as well as practical experience in the courtroom, every research staff analyst must have substantial education and training in applied scientific social science research.

We recommend the following academic and experiential backgrounds for research analyst applicants to our firm:

  • M.A. in Psychology, Sociology, or another social science,

  • Substantial experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data collected in scientific social science or marketing research, and

  • Proven ability to work with a team of people engaged in helping a client solve difficult problems that can be addressed using psychological, social science, or marketing research.
