Jason Murphy is a distinguished trial attorney with over a decade of experience litigating personal injury cases in New York City and now in Washington State. His practice focuses on complex personal injury litigation, specifically cases involving general negligence, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, and construction accidents. Over the years, Jason has built a reputation as a steadfast litigator who never wavers from his goal of achieving justice for his clients and for their families.
In recognition of his superior litigation skills, Jason was named a Rising Star for New York’s Greater Metropolitan Area by the esteemed legal rating organization Super Lawyers. He was, also, recently named as a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer in Washington by the National Trial Lawyers. Since the start of his legal career, Jason has handled thousands of personal injury cases, winning several multimillion-dollar recoveries for the clients he has served. Indeed, several of Jason’s verdicts were listed in the Verdicts and Settlements Hall of Fame of the prominent New York Law Journal. Despite his many accolades, though, Jason takes the most pride in the gratitude and relief he brings to his clients following a successful verdict.
Jason first began practicing law in 2007 after earning his Juris Doctorate law degree from the renowned Western New England Law School in Springfield, Massachusetts. Before law school, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. Following a successful legal career in New York City, Jason decided to move to the Seattle area with his family in order to continue his legal career in the great Pacific Northwest. Jason is also a graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College located in Dubois, Wyoming.
More than anything, Jason Murphy is passionate about his mission to help everyday people defend their rights in a court of law. He takes pride in the fact that he is able to use his exceptional legal skills to level the playing field for those who have nowhere else to turn when their lives are disrupted due to injury and financial loss. A tenacious litigator, Jason believes he is most in his element when he is in a courtroom defending his clients before a judge and jury. Jason proudly considers himself the last line of defense for personal injury victims against insurance companies and corporations which put profits before people.
