Rebecca's Story

Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She then went to Creighton University School of Law to obtain her law degree. While at Creighton, she was a member of the Advanced Trial Team, the Women’s Law Society, the Arbitration Team, and the Public Interest Law Forum.

After graduating from Creighton University, Rebecca began her legal career as a Deputy County Attorney in the Douglas County Attorney’s Office. As a Deputy County Attorney, Rebecca worked in the juvenile division where she prosecuted juvenile delinquency cases as well as child abuse and neglect cases. While there, she had the opportunity to successfully try numerous bench trials.

When not working, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys fitness, completing Sudoku puzzles, and attending any and all sporting events.
