Fatal Car Crash Ends in Twin Falls Restaurant
A Twin Falls driver was killed in a fatal car crash early Sunday afternoon after driving into a local restaurant. The accident occurred in Twin Falls, Idaho and local authorities reported that there were no other injuries.
Brandon Worring, 26, of Twin Falls, was heading east on 2nd Ave South in a 2008 Subaru Impreza when he ran a red light. After rolling through the intersection of 2nd Ave South and Blue Lakes Blvd, the other driver, Ricky Muse, 44, of Twin Falls, collided with Worring’s Subaru. Prior to the crash, Muse was driving north in a 2010 Ford F350 pick-up truck.
After Worring ran the red light at the intersection, Muse’s pick-up truck clipped the passenger side of his Subaru, sending him spiraling into another lane of traffic. Worring’s vehicle continued over the curb, onto Kimberly Road and crashed into the frontside of a Shake Out burger restaurant.
Worring died at the scene of the crash.
Luckily, the Shake Out was closed on Sunday otherwise there might have been additional injuries.
Kimberly Road was shut down for more than four hours as Twin Falls investigated the crash.
According to Lt. Terry Thueson of the Twin Falls Police Department, “The vehicle going through the intersection lost control and spun until it came to rest at the Shake Out.”
Shake Out will likely be closed for repairs indefinitely.
