Steve Day

Steve is a partner with The Advocates, Driggs Bills & Day. He first joined the firm in 1999 and has handled personal injury cases for over 20 years. Steven was recently honored as one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

Steven focuses his practice on personal injury cases occurring in Utah. These include wrongful death cases, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, boat crashes, and slip-and-fall accidents, dog bite claims, and dangerous drug and medical device cases. Steve takes pride in offering aggressive representation on behalf of his clients. Over the years, he has settled thousands of cases in excess of 100 million dollars. Steven makes a special effort to build relationships with his clients. He wants each of his clients to feel comfortable with him and especially with his representation.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University, Steven was accepted to the Gonzaga Law School, where he was an Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. He graduated in 1996 with his Juris Doctorate.

Steve is a very active member of his community. Steve is passionate most about helping disadvantaged kids and about education. To help further this cause, Steve helped develop and then implement a program to help struggling high school and elementary school students and their parents for the Provo School District. Through this program, Steve volunteered as a judge with the Truancy Court for a total of four years. During his free time, he is actively involved in his kids’ school and sports activities. Steve also has volunteered for several years as a Boy Scout adviser. Steve enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, boating, hunting, and especially riding four-wheelers.
