Sogol Setayesh is a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney and litigator who represents injured individuals in complex personal injury matters. Before focusing exclusively on plaintiff-side advocacy, she practiced at Tyson & Mendes, a nationally recognized insurance defense law firm, where she developed a sophisticated understanding of how insurance companies evaluate liability, damages, and litigation risk. She now leverages that insight to strategically increase case value and maximize results for her clients.
Sogol handles cases from pre-litigation through all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. She focuses her practice on motor vehicle accidents, trucking and commercial vehicle accidents, premises liability (including slip-and-fall and trip-and-fall cases), construction defect and construction-related injuries, habitability claims, product liability, and medical malpractice. She is known for her strategic, detail-oriented approach and hands-on involvement at every stage of a case.
With an extensive academic and professional background in the medical field, Sogol is highly skilled at reviewing and analyzing medical records, understanding complex diagnoses, and working closely with treating providers and medical experts to accurately assess injuries, causation, and long-term damages—an advantage that meaningfully strengthens case development and valuation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology and a Master of Advanced Studies in Health Policy and Law, and graduated ranked number one in her cohort at her law school. Her education bridges law, medicine, and health policy, allowing her to approach injury cases with exceptional depth and precision.
Outside of her legal practice, Sogol is a certified Sculpt Yoga instructor, enjoys candle making, and is actively involved in community service. She is fluent in Farsi, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse client base.
