G-Adventures Tour Bus Collides With Semi-Truck
On September 11, a G-Adventures tour bus collided with a semi-truck on Highway 30 near Hagerman, Idaho. It was reported that around 7 a.m., the tour bus driver was heading eastbound in Twin Falls County.
Investigators say that Christina O’Connor, of San Francisco, was driving a G-Adventures tour bus full of passengers when she brought the bus to quick halt. In a last-minute attempt to use the highway turn-about and start heading west, the semi-truck driver was unable to stop before hitting the front side of the tour bus.
The driver of the semi-truck, Teresa Watson, of Nampa, came to a grinding halt, colliding into the G-Adventures tour bus.
According to Idaho State Police, no one from the tour bus was injured. Police did report that Watson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and was transported by an ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls.
The current condition of her injuries has not yet been released.
Highway 30 was blocked for several hours while the accident was being investigated.
