Woman Ejected in Roll-Over Crash Near Swan Valley

Idaho State Police continue investigating a roll-over crash involving alcohol from Sunday evening. The two vehicles collided near Swan Valley, Idaho on Highway 26 around 7 p.m.

Police reported that the woman driving eastbound, Angela Krueger 42, of Alpine, Wyoming, had last minute swerved into the other eastbound lane, hitting a second vehicle. Joel Handy, 62, of Rexburg, was driving a 2018 Volvo Semi right before the Camry side swiped his truck.

Krueger’s car spun off the side of the highway and rolled over into a grassy area. Krueger flew from her vehicle and was immediately rushed to the hospital by an ambulance.

Unfortunately, Krueger had not been wearing a seatbelt, but the other driver was.

Idaho State Police clarified that alcohol had been a huge contributor to the roll-over crash.

The accident is still under investigation by state police, with a special thanks to the help of Idaho Falls Fire Department and Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
